Gotta Love This Paper!

I got my DCWV Blossoms and Butterlfies papers in the mail today from Scrap Gal (love this store..awesome place to shop) and they are flippin gorgeous! The quality of these papers is amazing. They are a nice heavyweight cardstock, glitter and foil etc. and not the kind that rubs off all over everything either. The best part is they were only .58 a sheet! Ive seen other companies selling these types for 1.50-2.00 a piece so check out this line its great! Oh and of course i already dove right into it!

Spring is here!

I finally got a chance to just take the camera outside and play. Things are starting to bloom and the caterpillars (ewww icky) are coming out. I hate them but these little guys were pretty photogenic for me today. Adam helped me out with some caterpillar poses hehe















We also did our egg coloring this afternoon. Heres Adam at work with the eggs

Off The Page

I am obsessed with scrapping "off the page" lately. I cut my background paper a little smaller and scrap over the edges but still being able to fit in my page protectors. Its so much fun and something different. Here are a couple i did today

Good Morning

Its been quiet and uneventful here. Just wanted to come on and give a little reminder for my blog RAK. Scroll down for details. Ive gotten some great entries so far and would love to see many more!

Target

So ive been hearing about Target carrying all these new goodies and checking mine like every few days lol...I gave up after yesterday and thougt to myself HELLO? Why havent you checked the other Target on the other side of town. So i went today and it was pretty picked over. They had the MM Garden Party but i already had some of that. I did score some really great clearance "junk" though. I got all this for under 20 bucks! The MM jars were less than 3 bucks!So were the paper packs... I was amazed.

Finally

I finally got around to easter shopping today. This is so unlike me. Im usually done ages ago. I found a basket for Adam though they were pretty picked over so i had to buy a pink lined one and take out the lining for him haha. I had bought Maddies a long time ago at Walmart. Its the cutest felt one with tulips and ribbon. Found for Maddie two little toys and a Easter Movie. I think thats plenty for a 7 month old. Adam got loads of candy, playdough, markers a new book..not sure what else. I did well though. Target had a lot of things on sale. Ok enough of my going on and on..heres a layout from yesterday i think it was..totally nothing to do with this but i wanted to post it

Just Rambling

Today it is absolutely gorgeous out..around 80 and sunny..and what did i do..spend it in the mall haha. We started out this afternoon with a quick lunch and then hit the mall. I needed some t shirts and was also attempting to find uniform shorts for Adam..no luck ill be ordering online i guess. Scored a good deal on some shirts at jc penneys..they were handing out their little candy bars with % off in side..So my shirts were already on sale plus i got 10% off. Not bad! I also pick up a few tees at Old Navy on sale. Love bargain shopping! Another thing im greatful for is my military discount at lots of store haha. So Adams sandals were a bit cheaper than normal today also. I also stopped in at JoAnns and got some cardstock and some dollar bin "junk" Now we are watching movies from Blockbuster and Maddies singing happily in her Jumparoo. Its been a pleasant day so far....knock on wood

A new one

Did this one for Adam yesterday. Hes such a big help with dh gone . Always helping with chores and taking care of his sister so well. Not sure what id do without him so i HAD to make a page to document this

Bad Mommy!

So sometimes i put the little one in the jumparoo and i get so busy doing things that when i finally come back to her this is what i see haha. Sleeping away straight up mouth hanging open and all. I feel so bad but im sure there are much worse things to do as a mom.

The Boy

Finally had a chance to do a quick shoot with Adam. No im no professional as you can see i just like to play around. I of course edited them a little..not sure if i like them or not..ok i do but im sure some wouldnt like the look of them. Anyway here are a couple i was playing with

I officially love this color..and maybe i went a little overboard here but i just cant help it. I never have used it much in the past so why not full force now haha. Loving these new American Crafts papers..the colors and textures are just great!!!

My Good Fortune Continues

I just found out i won the february contest over at Magistical Memories. LOVE LOVE LOVE their chipboard and am waiting patiently for my March kit to arrive from them. But how will i ever wait for this prize haha

Just stuff

Took maddie to get her big portrait done yesterday. We have a 20x30 of Adam at 6 months hanging on the wall so we wanted one fairly the same of Maddie. Needless to say i spent 118 bucks on pics and didnt even order the big one yet! If you know of a good quality place online to order that big of a print feel free to leave me a comment! I think this one is my fav of the day...for the most part she was being cranky and mean haha

On another note I signed Adam up for soccer finally this year. I knew John would be happy but geesh sports are expensive..to register..the uniform..all the gear. I spent a nice chunk. He doesnt know what team hes on and doesnt have his uniform yet but of course i had to get a pose in!

And on one final note i just got off the treadmill for the first time in months and i feel like i might die. Wooooo...no you dont get a pic of this one!

Lucky lately

Willow traders is having a great month of fun for their 3rd Anniversary. There is a different kit club hosting everyday with fun challenges and great prizes. I was lucky enough to win one of the Bring Your Own Memories kits yesterday! Go over and check out the fun happenings!
