Its Been SOOOOO long

Well im finally back after the computer died on me and it took like 3 weeks to finally get it back all fixed up and ready to go. I didnt get too much scrapping done even since i hadnt printed any pics out before it died. Its been a loooonnnngggg three weeks not being able to check in. Its nice to be back and catching up with everyone. Maddie is getting bigger and bigger daily of course. Tomorrow she will be 5 months old already. Adam has been a great help with her.

Here is a layout and card i wanted to share. I got these done recently. Hopefully i will get even more done today....after that mountain of laundry that needs tackled.

My Space

On the Making Memories blog (http://makingmemories.typepad.com/) today they asked everyone to give their organizational tips so i thought i would just post here i must admit i am NOT the most organized and could use even more help. This is how my space is set up. My sweet hubby put this together for me with some home depot cabinets and a counter top with a corkboard back.

I know alot of people use this for their smaller embellishments and let me tell you its a lifesaver. I love all the drawers and how much i can fit into them. Many times im cutting up packages of smaller things right when i buy them so i can shove them in and save space. Love that the drawers are clear too so you can see what you are looking for without pulling everyone of them out to look.

One of my other main organizational items i use are baskets. Lets face it they hold alot and they are pretty haha. My chipboard goes in one and also my new things go in before they get put away after i open them.

As for patterned paper i use the trusty old Cropper Hopper paper holders. I just sort my paper by company and line. I also use these for my cardstock which as you can see needs some sorting. In the binders i keep one for Thickers. Im a bit obsessed with these and the other is all my stickers. All sorted by company....some by font.

I also use this old cassette holder for my ink pads.

All the rest goes in my drawers and cabinets. As you can see i dont have any fancy or new way of organizing anything but this is my space and i love it! Thanks for taking a peek!

I got a few minutes between laundry and playing with the kiddos to get this one done today. I just love the Love,Elsie Noel papers. I need to stock up so i have them on hand always!!!

Well its been awhile. Ive been up north in PA visiting for Christmas. It was alot of fun with family. The drive up was uneventful and peaceful. We drove at night so maddie slept most of the way. She did really well. We got there Christmas Eve about 6:00 a.m. The family was so happy to finally meet Maddie. Heres pappy and his grandbaby

Christmas eve we went to our Aunts for dinner like usual. We always have a big fish dinner.

Grandma woke everyone up at 4:30 in the morning on Christmas because with her job she had to work that day a little later. Everyone had a blast and ripped it all open within an hour. Adam and Maddie were of course spoiled and spoiled again.

I got an acoustic guitar, ACDC cd, an A.C. Moore giftcard, chocolates, Bath stuff....so i guess i was spoiled pretty good too.

We had the family dinner at another aunts..again another yearly tradition. Turkey and all the fixings. It was yummy as usual. We got to meet the new baby cousin there...Brayden. Hes really sweet.

We also visited great grandpaps house and had a fun time with more gifts for the kids.

Finally New Years Eve we all piled back into the truck and came back home. Again it wasnt too bad of a drive. Just long. Overall it was a great trip and Adam even got to play a little in the snow before we left.
